Bespoke media unit, Dulwich
We were commissioned to design and build a media and display unit for this new build home, taking design cues from the art-deco style cornicing to create a feature piece that sits perfectly in the space.

The unit requirements were to house the TV and soundbar, while hiding TV boxes and cabling in the cupboards. Above the TV the clients wanted adaptable shelving for various collectables and ornaments.
We created push to open doors, adjustable display shelves on flush fitted shelving, with a hand painted finish to give the piece a softness.

Birch Ply, MR MDF, Blum Hardware, brushed metal inlayed shelf strip.

Dominoed and screwed together, with neat inlayed shelf strips for strong adjustable shelves. Hand painted in Little Greene Clay Mid 153, clear coat lacquer on the birch ply.
