Freestanding Furniture

A fully mitred freestanding media unit painted with a RAL colour spray finish. The carcass was mounted on a lightweight metal frame, which was powder coated in a complementary colour. Plenty of storage is found behind the sliding doors and cable cut outs to the rear to keep everything tidy and neatly tucked away.

This was a second commissioned piece from the same client, following the completion of a freestanding wall unit.

  • These freestanding commissions are both in a mid century style, using a mixed material palette of wood, metal and bright laminates to provide bold statement pieces within a modern interior.

The teal sideboard incorporates sliding doors for a sleek look and is set on lightweight metal legs.

The large living room unit is designed to hold and display the client's vinyl, books and artworks. Push to open drawers and cupboards give hidden storage and an uncluttered appearance. Using solid chestnut edging and chestnut laminates to give warm timber tones complementing the blackened steel frame and bold colour scheme.

  • Moisture resistant MDF and solid steel bar.

  • Full mitred sides and back with hot bent and welded metal frame.

  • Spray finish and powder coated metal components.

We are delighted with the pieces Tom made for us and we have another project in production. He has a really collaborative approach. The final results are beautiful, well made furniture that we are enjoying having in our home.
