Design Process
Stage 1
The Thumb Designs Process starts with an initial consultation to discuss the project. What are the requirements? What is the client's design inspiration, preferred colour palettes and materials?
Stage 2
The design phase. Concept designs are shared with the client for review. We then discuss the form and function in more detail, narrow down potential materials and finishes and focus in on the most important requirements. This is the time to make the changes, look at options and dig into the functionality of the piece.
Stage 3
Once the concept design has been agreed, a final production quote is provided with a technical drawing pack for client sign off.
Stage 4
Workshop production and completion of the final furniture design. This includes a full test set up, before the delivery and installation schedule is finalised.
Stage 5
On site delivery and full installation of your furniture takes place based on the original estimated timescale.
